A composite sequence of images of Venus photographed with the 50 cm reflector at the TBGS Observatory during its evening apparition between early May and late October 2002.
The images were taken using the MX5c CCD camera in daylight when Venus was high in the sky.
The background daylight was subtracted during image processing to maximise image contrast and allow composition of the images into a single picture.
